Hi Ted, mulling coming out in Sept to Death Valley, Kings, Sequoia & Yosemite, when hopefully the crowds will be gone. Heard the Sierras are very dry this year.
Not sure in-park places will open in Sept. any recs on where to stay. Yosemite is my old stomping ground - will take a quick look at the valley but will be spending most time off of Tioga/Tuolumne - doing some dayy hiking - too old and creaking now to backpack. Thanks for your blog, I enjoy it.
